WELCOME!
We are excited to have you all participate in the North Alabama XC Camp! This camp is designed for upcoming middle and high school student athletes interested in running cross country. We will focus on skill development through various educational opportunities as well as making this a fun experience for all levels of cross country student-athletes.  During the two weeks with us, you will be instructed by current North Alabama coaches, student athletes, alumni and staff members as well as members of the community where we will work to develop running skills, improve conditioning, and provide drills and exercises you can use throughout the year!

CAMP DATES AND TIME
July 11th – 22nd (Monday, Wednesday and Friday)
Starting at 7 AM and dismissing between 9 and 9:30 AM

WHAT TO BRING
Come dressed and ready with athletic shorts, a t-shirt, and a quality pair of running shoes. A running watch is optional. Cell phones will be put away during camp time. Additionally, please bring a water bottle and towel. We ARE NOT responsible for items that are lost or stolen!

WHAT TO EXPECT
Camp will start at 7 AM and wrap up around 9 AM on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with drop off available beginning at 6:30 AM. Please pick-up and drop-off your camper at Park Shelter 1, the first shelter on the left past the Visitors Center. If staying for the duration of camp we ask that you DO NOT park in the gravel parking lot at Park Shelter 1. Pick-up will be promptly at 9 AM each day. On the first day of participation parents will be required to check-in campers and sign a waiver in order for campers to participate. A typical day will consist of a warmup, training session, cool-down, and an educational competent presented by guest speakers.                                          

REGISTRATION
Regular online registration will begin on April 11th at 12 PM and will close July 4th at 5 PM. Price for regular online registration is $70. Those registered during this time will be guaranteed a camp t-shirt at check-in on July 11th.

Late online registration will be July 4th at 5:01 PM through July 8th at 5 PM. Price for regular online registration is $70. Sizing and availability of camp t-shirts are NOT guaranteed for those who register during this timeframe.

In person registration ONLY will be accepted during check-in on July 11th with the same terms as late online registration. Payment MUST be made at or before July 11th in order for camper to participate. July 11th is the only time in-person registration will be accepted!

NEW for 2022! Single day registration will be available for those who cannot attend at six dates. Single day registration will be $20 per date. Camp shirts will be available for those registered during the regular online registration timeframe. 

Parent(s)/Guardian(s) will be required to check-in campers and sign a waiver in order for campers to participate. 

PARKING INFORMATIONP

FOOD AND DRINK
Meals will NOT be provided. Campers are welcome to bring a post-run snack. We will provide a small post-run snack on a limited basis. Water and isotonic options will also be available post run. We ask that campers bring a reusable water bottle. We would like to be good environmental stewards by going cup less if possible! 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Please check your email regularly as this is our primary way to communicate. Any additional information that we need to convey as the camp draws closer will be passed on to you via the e-mail address that you supplied when you registered for camp. Please make it a habit to check your e-mail daily, this will eliminate any confusion and or miscommunication. 

CANCELATION POLICY
Cancellations made seven days prior to the start of camp will receive a refund but will be responsible for any fees associated with registration. Cancellations made within the seven day window will be issued a refund, but require a 25% processing fee. Once camp has started, refunds will not be issues and failure to attend (e.g. family situation, injury, work, etc.) is not justification for a refund.
